Through this portal, applicants can apply for the scheme online from their homes. According to the Haryana government, a total of 50 lakh BPL families will be selected under this Yojna 2024. Eligible applicants will be allowed to refill gas cylinders multiple times a year, with the remaining amount transferred directly to their bank accounts. On August 12, 2024, an online portal named Har Ghar Grihini Yojana was launched in Chandigarh, offering gas connections to around 50 lakh BPL families for INR 500.
Objective of Har Ghar Har Grahani Yojna 2024
The main objective of this plan is to provide financial assistance to all Antyodaya families in Haryana. This scheme supports residents who cannot afford LPG gas cylinders for their families. The scheme offers gas cylinders at INR 500 each, while the Haryana government covers the excess cost. A budget of INR 1500 crore has been allocated for the scheme.

- Applicants must own a 14.2 kg gas cylinder.
- The annual family income should not exceed INR 1.5 lakh.
